A provisional credit must be granted within 10 business days/20 business days depending on the account tenure. A dispute is eligible for a Provisional Credit if:
Dispute reason is covered by Regulation E
Dispute Form/Letter is Postmarked within 10 business days
Postmarked date should be within 10 business days for both Existing/New accounts.
Dispute is filed in a timely manner
Past time frame and Safe Harbor must be considered if applicable
